Teaching Vol. I
Teaching: Education and Academics at the Turn of the Century is the formal title of this book, which is a collection of columns I'd written for the Phi Kappa Phi Forum. The focus of most is on the people of a school: students, teachers, parents and administrators all make appearances throughout these columns. One reviewer who gave it a low rating said it raised a lot of valid questions but gave no answers. Another reviewer who gave it five stars compared the writings and positions taken as similar to those of Diane Ravitch, which was, to me, a high compliment. Let me know what you think of these essays.
